It's all rather embarrassing and making his life very complicated.
Review: No H/D recs list is complete without at least one Veela!Draco fic. This is thoroughly enjoyable.

Summary: Snape turns Draco into a ferret for his own protection. He would've been safer with the Dark Lord.
Review: When the author is trying for parody, the fic fails. But when she is swept up by her tale, so is the reader. If not perfect, the fic is here for one scene which completely owns me.
Obscene Obsession by Jitterbug (NC-17)
Summary: Draco is in denial and has an oral fixation.
Review: In between all the great humour there's some darn good writing, too!
The Outing by Natt (PG-13)
Summary: Lonely, irritated, and (most importantly) itching, Draco finds himself victim to Harry Potter's regard on their class camping trip.
Review: Funny fic - great lines. Very old-skool H/D by now :o)

Review: Don't worry about Cho - this is a great fic, and a great H/D fic.

Summary: Draco and the world. Not the best possible of relationships: parents, teachers, friends and hopefully a lover.

Things That Change by eutychides [Ociwen] (NC-17)
Summary: After Hogwarts, everything changes.
Review: No good mpregs, you say? This is one of the most disturbing fics I have read - every chapter leaves you exhausted. It is very well done.
A Thousand Beautiful Things by Duinn Fionn (R, ca. 100,000 words) !
Summary: Draco Malfoy struggles with changed fortunes, shifted alliances, an ugly war, and an unusual spell, with the help of a concerned professor, an insightful house-elf, and an unexpected Gryffindor friend.
Review: As good as they all say, i.e. great!
Sequel: Delicate Sound of Thunder.
Transfigurations by Resonant (NC-17, 72,067 words) !
Summary: Five years after Voldemort's defeat, Harry returns to England to help re-open Hogwarts.
Review: On the right day, I'd call this my favorite fanfic of all time. Such good characterizations, such good story-telling.
Triptych by Ivy Blossom (NC-17)
Summary: Draco and Harry in three acts. Love is not a fairy tale.
Review: Emotionally fucked-up characters, domesticity, half-rotten roses, *wibble*.
Your Every Wish by Maya (R)
Summary: Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Review: I have only read this once. It really disturbed me.

Summary: Snape finds himself the subject of seventh-year mayhem.
Review: Reading it the second time, knowing - it's almost too much, *g*.
Clipped Wings by Theresa Ann Wymer (R, AU)
Summary: In the aftermath of catastrophe, Harry deals with survivor's guilt and finds hope for himself and others.
Review: Very intriguing scenario and story.

Summary: How long do you fight when you've already lost? Harry, Ron, and Hermione must survive in a world where all is not what it seems; but what it seems is unbearable.

Review: Shortest non-drabble I have seen, and also the most subtle: just so much left to reader-inference. Love it.

Summary: Snape may or may not be in trouble. A few well meaning Gryffindors come to the rescue.
Review: Extremely kinky with much humour and plot.

Review: Tension so dense. Crappy, messy, confused sex.

Summary: Ginny has rather vivid fantasies about the people around her.

Summary: Dumbledore has Snape in for a little chat.
Review: Great plot, great narration, great characterization.

Summary: Harry is dead. Then he isn't. Snape struggles to cope.
Review: Heart-breakingly beautiful.

Summary: The water has it's own rules and reality, while water under moonlight is a powerful force of nature.
Review: Beautiful, image-evoking writing. Wonderful narration. Great, great first-time sex - in all its clumsy glory!

Review: (It's not really Snape/Dumbledore!) It's not a great fic by any standards, but it has its very, very sweet moments. Also I'm intrigued by how even when I read this (fall 2003), its author had already disappeared from fandom, and her identity was obscure. Wonder who she was.
